FIRST ANNUAL CHARITY JURIED PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

FAMILY CONNECTION

HOW TO ENTER

Photographers may enter up to 3 images—with a Family Connection theme. There is a $25 entry fee for the adult category and $20.00 for the youth category (under 18).  Photos entered must be in a CD or a print no larger than 6x4. The files must be JPEG, no larger than 2MB in size. The longest side may be no larger than 1024 pixels. Files should be named as follows: Photographer Name – Title. All entries must be received by March 1^st.   If you wish your CD to be returned, please enclose a self- addressed, stamped envelope. After the juror reviews all of the entries, notification of acceptance will be made via email no later than the 12^th of March. Please keep a copy of your entry.

SALE OF PHOTOGRAPHY

All exhibitors may sell their work.  The artist will receive 50% of the sales price.

AGREEMENT

All work submitted is that of the artist. No work submitted can be withdrawn before the close of the exhibit. Photographers will receive payment of any sold pieces after the close of the show.  If work is sold the photographer may replace with another piece.

ACCEPTED PHOTOS

After receiving notice that a photo has been accepted it is the responsibility of the photographer to have the photo framed properly.  All frames are to be black.  The outer dimensions of the frame cannot exceed 30”.  All mats, if the photo is matted, should be white or off-white and at least 2.5” on all sides. Any photo delivered that is not framed in a professional manner may be excluded from the exhibit.

DELIVERY/REMOVAL OF ARTWORK

All photos must be delivered to Corner Arts Gallery Studio by Saturday March 31st no later than 3pm Saturday.  There will be an opening ceremony April 7^th from 4:00 to 6:00.  All unsold pieces must be picked up by the artist at the end of the show April 28th.  If you are shipping work, you must make arrangements prior to the show for delivery and return shipment.

AWARDS

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons will be awarded in each category during the opening ceremony.  A People’s Choice Award will be presented during closing reception.   One Roof Ecumenical and Corner Arts Gallery Studio may feature winning photos in their newsletter and on their website. The photographer retains all rights to their photos.
