What are the One Roof hours?The One Roof Office and Food Pantry are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 1 pm - 4 pm. Any new clients need to arrive no later than 3:15 pm to complete the application before closing. The One Roof Thrift Store is open Monday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm. Donations for the store must arrive by 4 pm.

How can I receive assistance?All first time clients must complete an in-person application that takes around ten minutes to fill out. There are specific requirements for each service. See below for more details.

What do I need to bring to apply?First time clients or those who need to renew their application must bring their photo ID (driver's license) as well as ID for any dependents listed as in their household. IDs for dependents can be photo ID, Social Security Card, or Birth Certificate. Without IDs, the clients cannot receive services for the additional household members.

What's required for financial assistance?All financial assistance is completed via appointment which is a first come first serve basis within the office hours. Financial assistance appointments last a minimum of 30 minutes. You must arrive no later than 3:15 pm to complete the application before the end of the day. To qualify clients must meet all of the following requirements: - Be a Coweta County resident for at least the last 6 months. - Have not received financial assistance from One Roof previously. - Be currently working, for at least the last 30 days. (You will need to submit your last two paycheck stubs if you are paid bi-weekly or four paycheck stubs if you are paid weekly.) If you meet these requirements you will complete the client application, and submit all of the necessary documents (paychecks, client's ID and verification for all dependents, the most recent bill you are seeking assistance with and/or your lease agreement) for review by the case manager. If you do not have the necessary documents your application will be denied. Please be advised if you are approved, $250.00 is the maximum amount per household per lifetime. When can I get food?Supplemental food boxes can be received twice a month, but not back-to-back weeks. The boxes are prepacked based on the household. To receive food for more than yourself you must list all the dependents that live with you and provide ID for each of them. To receive food clients must have an up-to-date application on file.

When can I get clothing?A clothing voucher can be received for household members (adults, teens, children) for necessary items upon request. Only those who have been verified with an ID can receive a voucher. These can only be requested once every 6 months.
