Phillippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"(NKJV version).

You will see this verse on the side of our One Roof van. Our board and staff all suggested a theme verse and this one was chosen by common consent. It is a powerful passage full of hope. And really, we cannot do much here if it is just one person trying to serve a community. It is we, the body of Christ, working together as one to meet the many needs we encounter that make this ministry possible.

Isn't that the way we should do everything? We are so grateful here for the people who volunteer with us, donate gently used items to our thrift store, or food to the food pantry, or support us with monetary donations. Perhaps we are the most grateful to those who keep this organization in its prayers. Coweta is a generous community and the people who live here remind us often that we are the body of Christ working together. Sometimes we see prayers answered vividly when someone shows up with just what is needed. And when we see someone who is broken by the trials of life and we are able to support and encourage them spiritually and also with physical needs, we feel we are doing the Lord's work.

It is a blessing to serve here. You make that possible.
